theadvance Worship is our weekly gathering to connect with God and each other. It’s the main hub from which we do everything. Here you’ll get some relevant teaching, experience passionate worship and enjoy some great community. Check out the details below.
The Coffee Bar
Each week theadvance hosts a coffee bar. Our premium, organic, fair-trade coffee is free and awesome and if you want to leave a donation, that’s cool and you’ll make our baristas feel really loved. For our non-coffee drinking friends there are both hot and cold options available. The coffee bar is open one hour before the conversation begins.
The Lounge
Once you’ve got a drink from the coffee bar The Lounge is a great place to hang out and connect. Grab a comfy chair, find some friends and catch up. From time to time we’ll have musical guests and there’s an iPod Touch and notebook friendly wifi hotspot too.
The Conversation
Here at theadvance we’re all about discovering the life, passion and adventure of following Jesus. The conversation is our time to connect with God. We sing songs together, experience dramas and videos and then we explore God’s conversation with us (the Bible).
The After Party
At least once a month, following theadvance, whoever is still around is welcome to join us at Boston Pizza on Greenbank Road. We celebrate a great evening and enjoy each other’s company around some good eats.
