theadvance begins again on Sunday, January 10 at 7pm with a new series called “Jesus Wants To Save Christians”. Based on Rob Bell’s book by the same title, this series is about faith and fear, welath and war, poverty, power, safety, terror, Bibles, bombs, and homeland insecurity; it’s about empty empires and the truth that everybody’s a priest; it’s about oppression, occupation, and what happens when followers of Jesus support, animate, and participate in the very things Jesus came to set people free from.
